Tara Vaughan

EVENT: Canoe Sprint - Women's K4

Paris 2024 will be Tara Vaughan's Olympic debut where she will compete in the Woman's K4 500m with her teammates Dame Lisa Carrington, Alicia Hoskin and Olivia Brett. The team, coached by Gordan Walker and Chris Mehak, won the 2023 World Championships, the first New Zealand team ever to do so. 

Tara was born in Wellington and grew up on Auckland's North Shore which she still calls home.
