Glasgow 2014 was the first Commonwealth Games for Ryan who competed in the under 90kg events. Ryan's current World Ranking is 15th and his Commonwealth Ranking is 1st in his weight category. Ryan is the 2013 and 2014 Oceania Champion (90kg).
