Quentin Rew

EVENT: Athletics: Men's 10km Race Walk

Birmingham 2022 was Quentin Rew's second appearance at the Commonwealth Games. At Gold Coast 2018 he placed fifth in the 20km race walk.

A member of Wellington Harrier AC, Rew has made five successive World Championship appearances and has featured at the past three Olympic Games. He placed tenth in the 50km race walk at the 2015 World Championships and 12th in the 50km race walk at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

He is an eight-time national champion and currently holds New Zealand records for the 3000m track walk and on the road over 20km and 50km.

Based in Melbourne he is coached by Brent Vallance.
