Nick Palmer

Hawkes Bay thrower Nick Palmer is ranked first on New Zealand's under-18 rankings and finished third in the junior men's section of the 2017 Big Shot event with a throw of 17.91m.

The Karamu High School student is ranked second on the New Zealand under-20 rankings and third on the Australasia under-20 rankings.

Nick is coached by Dale Stevenson who also coaches Olympic medallist Tom Walsh. He will be 17 at Games time.
