EVENT: Athletics - Women's 1500m
Maia Ramsden is a 1500m specialist. Ramsden's achievements include NCAA mile and 1500m gold medals and setting a 1500m national record of 4:02.58 in Los Angeles in May 2024.
In 2024 Ramsden became the first woman in 20 years to win back-to-back NCAA Division 1 titles. Ramsden is a Harvard University Student and spent part of her childhood in Wellington.
