Former South African Captain Irene van Dyk chose to make New Zealand her home in 2000 and became a New Zealand citizen in 2005. She is a firm favourite with Kiwi crowds wherever she plays. Widely regarded as the best goal shooter in the world, van Dyk consistently attains over 90% in every game.
