Gemma has become a mainstay of the New Zealand side after making her debut in 2008. The Tauranga native was playing at her third Olympic games in Rio 2016 having taken to the turf at Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
She is a versatile athlete who is effective through the midfield or in a striker role. She is very fit and fast and is regarded among the world's best.
