Emily Shearman

PARIS 2024 EVENTS: Cycling-Track: Women's Team Pursuit, Madison, Omnium

Emily came through the strong cycling community of the Manawatu, to earn a place in the New Zealand team to the UCI Junior World Championships, where they won silver in the Team Pursuit at Aigle in 2016 and at Montichiari in 2017.

She joined the development Team Pursuit squad at the Cycling New Zealand HP Programme, competing in UCI Track World Cup campaigns in 2019 and 2020. She was hampered by a medical condition which is now behind her, and returned to the team that won silver medals in the Team Pursuit at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games (2022) and World Championships in Glasgow (2023).
